Welcoming @darenBBC and @nicktadd to the panel

The news yesterday is that we've welcome new media veterans Daren Forsyth and Nick Tadd to the panel, which is really exciting because both of them bring a real depth to Like Minds. Daren has worked extensively in executive roles at the BBC, and Nick is an entrepreneur who is applying social media with great success to property and other ventures.

It's great how Like Minds is now snowballing in profile towards Friday 16th :-)

Other news that will be announced on the blog this week are details of car shares from Cornwall and Bristol, a fantastic deal we have at a leading Exeter hotel for anyone wanting to make a weekend of it, and also ways that we are aiming to collaborate in the weeks leading up to Like Minds.

And, as always, send in your stuff to this Posterous by emailing post@likeminds.posterous.com.

We're like minds with @littlelaura, @andjdavies and @carlhaggerty

So today we announced let everyone know that Laura Whitehead, Andrew Davies and Carlhaggerty are joining the panel at Like Minds Exeter next month.

I'm thrilled, personally, because:

1. I've been waiting to meet Laura for a year, since I've been on Twitter. She is the original and well connected Devon Tweeter.

2. Andrew is doing incredible things with the digital publishing revolution, and thinks smart about social media. This guy will blow you away for a 25 year old.

3. Carl is an employee at Devon County Coucil so hopefully will get some of the minds thinking more freshly when they come. Carl has extensive experience in guiding organisational change with social media - something few people can actually claim to.

As always, checkout all the buzz, hype and over exaggeration at http://alikeminds.org

Collaborating with Like Minds

This Posterous account is setup to receive photos, videos, thoughts, text, and anything else, that is sent to post@likeminds.posterous.com

The question is, how we can we use this innovative bit of technology to help collaborate?

On Friday 16th October, no doubt this Posterous blog will be filled with photos and live blogging - but how can we use this now to get thinking together?

I leave the floor to you....
